- Start to unpack the printer box after completing the shipment process of the Brother HL-L3230DW printer.
- Before you begin to unpack the printer, make sure that the manufacturer’s seal is present on the printer box.
- Unseal the box and remove the protective cover from the printer carton. Open the box.
- You can find the Brother HL-L3230CDW setup and its components inside the box.
- Note: The components are the drum unit, toner cartridge, installation CD, AC power cable, belt unit, reference guide, quick setup guide, and waste toner box.
- Locate an even surface and place the Brother HL-L3230CDW printer on it.
- Find the packing components inside and outside the machine and remove them.
- Take out the drum unit with toner cartridges from the printer.
- Remove the packing materials from the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly and reinstall them.
